Data centers have already become an important part of the infrastructure that supports our society and economy. So securing the safety of data centers is an extremely important issue. The primary threats to data centre security include cyber-attacks that are becoming ever more sophisticated and devastating to the victims of these attacks. In addition, data center facilities must be able to face threats from terrorism as terror groups also look to them as a potential target point.
With this in mind, JDCC believes that the continuously growing global data center industry can benefit greatly from Japan’s many strengths, especially its high standard of products and services. In addition to this, Japan’s political stability combined with its geographical location in terms of node placement within the global communications network give the country another distinct advantage in the global IT sector.
JDCC is currently working mainly on these six areas to achieve international competitiveness of Japan's IT nation.
